From New Civil Engineer:
"The temporary cycling and pedestrian structure planned to run parallel to Hammersmith Bridge will not be subject to further environmental tests, despite pleas from “concerned” residents. Housing, Communities & Local Government secretary Robert Jenrick has denied residents’ request for a stringent environmental screening of the temporary bridge, NCE can reveal."
NCE report that Robert Jenrick has denied the request for a "screening procedure", which is a used to determine whether a proposed project is likely to have significant effects on the environment.
This means that the proposed temporary cycle/pedestrian bridge is more likely to be built.
